What’s our job in marketing? What is success?

Our job in marketing is to PREDICTABLY help people, with problems that we are good at solving get to know us, like us and trust us.

But that’s not all. For our business to work we need PREDICTABLE trys and buys. Effective marketing makes trials and transactions more likely, with less risk or trepidation about the decision being made.

Most small business marketing thinking stops there. But we need to think beyond the sale to service and have marketing PREDICTABLY impact repeat business and referral business.

Finally, our job is to ensure marketing accomplishes that at cost-effective rate.
